LSP announced as a pioneer school

We wanted to share the good news…

Lewis School Pengam has been named by Welsh Government as a Pioneer School. This means we will be taking a lead in improving education right across Wales.

“All our pioneer schools will have a crucial role in ensuring that our ambitious and exciting future for education in Wales is realised.” Huw Lewis - minister for education

Headteacher Chris Parry said “Everyone at LSP is very proud that we have been identified as a Pioneer School. We have worked very hard over the last few years to make our school an excellent place to learn and it’s great to see that all that hard work is being recognised”
