Are you interested in the different types of crime that take place in our society? An understanding of criminology is relevant to many job roles within the criminal justice sector, social and probation work and sociology and psychology. This WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology is a qualification with elements of psychology, law and sociology that complements studies in humanities and will support you to progress to university.
It offers exciting and interesting experiences. You will develop an understanding of different types of crime, influences on perceptions of crime and why some crimes are unreported. In addition, you will gain an understanding of why people commit a crime and develop your knowledge of the criminal justice system. Throughout the course, you will develop a wide range of transferable skills that will be much sought after by employers.
